Falkhans Raad is a 2001 homozygous black purebred arabian stallion by Blacklord Falkhan and out of RB Maaleya by Arabi Fadh Onyx.  He stands 16 hands barefoot and is a true non fading black.  Raad was purchased as a yearling by Donna from Claire Schemel of Schemel Stables.  Raad has grown up at Winding Brooke Farm and is trained and shown by his owner whom he has developed a special relationship with.  Raad's level headed temperment and trainability, strong top line, substance, excellent bone, and strong floating movement has proven successful in the show ring.  Since the age of two he has consistently placed in the top of the field against national caliber stallions in both sport horse in hand confirmation classes as well as under saddle in dressage and show hack.  Raad has several championships at the Regional level and went top 11 twice at US Sport Horse Nationals.  In 2009 Raad had two strapping colts; WBF Falkhans Assignment a anglo arabian black bay colt that will mature over 16 hands and is sure to be a sport horse show stopper and AD Midnight Thunder a homozygous black purebred colt out of the champion show mare Thee Knight N Gale.  Due to an unexpected loss, Raad is no longer with us, we miss him dearly and are looking forward to the birth of his goals in 2010.  On April 2, 2010 both of Raad's colts were born.  A lovely purebred, AD Falkhans Majeed out of Destiny Bey and and anglo arab, WBF Falkhans Rogue out of Angelonassignment.
